Allow me to introduce Ray Esmany, the visionary behind our product design and ranges, which are instrumental in shaping the baking industry.

My journey commenced with humble beginnings, venturing into the realm of chocolate decorations. Through persistent experimentation, a process marked by valuable "trial and error" lessons, and dedicated attendance of courses, I honed the art of crafting exquisite chocolate decorations.

These culinary creations found their way into diverse establishments, serving businesses, corporate functions, lodges, restaurants, and various special events and launches.

Under the banner of Crystal Candy Shop, we catered to an illustrious clientele spanning hotels, restaurants, the corporate sector, weddings, and noteworthy occasions. My fervent passion for themed dessert creations found its expression in an array of high-profile projects, including the design of desserts for prestigious events such as the Nederberg Wine Auctions, the inauguration ceremonies of Nelson Mandela and Thabo Mbeki, Nelson Mandela's 85th birthday celebration at the Sandton Convention Centre, the inauguration of the ICC in Durban, and the grand opening of The Palace at Sun City. Furthermore, I had the privilege of representing South Africa at the esteemed Bocuse d'Or competition in Lyon, France, on two distinguished occasions as part of the South African culinary team.

Now, after more than three decades, Crystal Candy is embarking on a transformative journey. Our focus has shifted towards the creation of silicone molds, driven by a vision to lead the industry with innovation and excellence.

To design inspiring, authentic, high quality cake decorating embellishments that, in turn, inspires cake bakers to create fantastic works of art for their customers, always ahead of the curve, leading the way with design an product concepts.
