Tuff Floors FLOORING ADHESIVES
Although Tuff Floors flooring is mostly installed as a loose lay product under certain instances the use of an adhesive may be recommended. Such an instance could be in areas subject to constant exposure to the sun resulting in expansion and possible wrinkling. To cater for this and other occasions three different types of adhesive products are supplied.
Acrylic Flooring Adhesive
Acrylic adhesive is the standard adhesive used to adhere the flooring to the subfloor.
Polyurethane Flooring Adhesive
The Polyurethane two-pack adhesive is extremely strong and is used only in instances where permanent adhesion is required usually only in extreme industrial applications. An example of such an instance is around motor vehicle hoist entrances where the aggressive action of the tyres may rip up the flooring.
Bokweld Flooring Adhesives
Bokweld adhesive is used to bond PVC to PVC. An example is to permanently install the Vinyl transition edging to the underside of the PVC tiles.
